MY MISSION

To help high school and college students align with their passions, build on their skill sets, and foster resilience as they pursue their unique path into a meaningful career.

While serving as an educator over the last decade,

( including roles as a teacher, Education Consultant, Elementary through Highschool Principal and Executive Director) Nerel observed a consistent problem popping up - students were losing interest and feeling disconnected from their schoolwork and the adults in their lives were struggling to understand and figure out how to support them.

While teaching 4th and 5th graders Nerel found that when he used his students values, interests, and passions to guide their lesson plans their excitement, curiosity, and out of the box thinking skyrocketed!
So Nerel set out to create a new way of learning and helping students fulfill their highest potential - a career based approach that put their personal interests, values, and passions as the guiding force and connected them to real world opportunities outside of the classroom.

He founded a school initiative called Bostonia Global focused on creating personalized pathways for each student from Tk through junior college. The initiative has successfully reconnected students and their families to their school experience because everyday they are investing in their current passions and learning skill sets towards a chosen career path.

Once he realized the connective power of his approach and the need for more students to approach their school from a career perspective, he started offering One-on-One coaching for teens and Young 20’s who are looking for support with their career path. Now students and their parents can be empowered and encouraged while following a personalized roadmap for planning their future.

Not long ago I was in need of career guidance too.

As a student I struggled to concentrate, found little to connect my interests to school subjects, and was more eager to get outside for sports or to pursue my love for classical music. I followed all the typical advice from school counselors - volunteering, aiming to get good grades, and even landing a scholarship for music at a desirable college. It felt like the pinnacle of success!

But once I reached college, I felt a bit in the dark about how to match my existing skills and interests with a real job I could get excited about. I added on additional majors, took too many classes, and still had no clue about my career direction. I didn’t know it then, but many of my true talents and interests would remain hidden until I found a role that truly fit who I was.

My shot in the dark? I landed a job as a classroom teacher. I know what you are thinking - demanding work, not well paid, and why would I want to go back inside a classroom?

I decided to change that narrative. I took the kids outside the classroom. We discovered what they really loved ( soccer, rockets, collecting rocks, you name it) and I connected our lessons to all of their unique interests in the real world. Not only were my students engaged, but I also found myself thriving - I had found a sweet spot reconnecting with my own inner kid and making it a meaningful work in the process.

Now I work with high school and college students, who are often stuck in the very place I was - expressing uncertainty around what to do with their lives and feeling lost in the school system. My coaching centers around reconnecting students with their interests, being curious about their passions and talents, providing a framework to deciding on the best job fit for them, and helping them build a clear path forward into a career they will love.

I look forward to helping you hold a vision for you and your child as they navigate their individual life pathway - with passion and on purpose!

My Mission and Vision

My mission is to help high school and college students align with their passions, build on their skill sets, and foster resilience as they pursue their unique path into a meaningful career.

My vision is to create a community of confident young people who are empowered to use their passions and interests for positive change in their own communities and careers.

My Philosophy

✦ Self reflection is the key to clarity. Knowing more about yourself can unlock stuck patterns and help us make clear decisions about our preferences and future plans.

✦ A fulfilling career is one important piece of the larger puzzle. Your lifestyle and passions should help fuel your career, not stay on the sidelines.

✦ You are not too young to plan for your future. Shifting your perspective now lets you leverage your time more effectively.

✦ Change often is inspired by community. It’s my role to help guide you in finding the right resources, mentors, and community that will propel you in the direction you want to go.

My Approach

✦ I’ll help you think beyond graduation and all the education and career options available to you right now.

✦ We’ll understand your values, strengths, and interests in new ways—and connect them to real opportunities.

✦ You’ll shift your perspective about learning and begin taking control of the skills sets you want to learn for your future success.

✦ Your pathway will be custom - but the process we follow is a proven plan to help you tackle big decisions (now and later) with confidence.

What People Are Saying

In high school your future can often feel like a far off land of unknowns.

I believe life is too precious to waste it “guessing” at where to go next

or wasting money taking college classes hoping to find something that sticks

or relying on outdated fear based advice about abandoning your passions and getting a “real job”

or wasting time stuck in uncertainty, not clear on your next best steps.

The truth is you already have unique interests, values, and passions right now. And those preferences connect you to your future self more than you realize

Think about kindergarten when someone probably first asked you, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” And you had an instant answer ( or maybe 5!) of your favorite things or really cool job titles you looked up to.

I want to help you reignite those instantaneous passions and use them to fuel your path.

I believe you can face your future with clarity and start to pursue a pathway that is a great fit for who you are and what you want today.

Are you ready to get started on your journey into a career and life you will love?
